About Hospitality House:
The mission of Hospitality House is to end hunger in our community by providing food to those in need. Hospitality House works to fulfill this mission by operating a food pantry and providing referral services to residents in the the Walled Lake School and Novi School Districts, Hospitality House also services all residents who possess a 48393 zip code. In addition, Hospitality House also provides advice and aid to pantries in other cities as they work to fight hunger in the greater southeastern Michigan community.

Eligibility:
Residency – You must physically reside within the Walled Lake School district, Novi school district or possess a 48393 zip code.
Income – Your income is below 200% of the federal poverty income guideline

Food Distribution Hours
Monday: Noon-6:30pm
Thursday: 10am – 1:30pm
Saturday: 11am – 1:30pm

To apply for food assistance, please visit the pantry during client hours and bring the following documents:
• Proof of Identification for all members of household: drivers license, state id’s, social security cards and or birth certificates for children
• Proof of Income: Pay stubs, unemployment letters, social security letters, bank statements showing income deposits, tax returns
• Proof of Expenses: Rent/mortgage bill, utilities, phone bills, car payments, and car insurance payments, etc
• Proof of Residence: Utility bills showing your current address if your photo identification does not include your current address

Open Hands Food Pantry:
Open Hands Food Pantry provides emergency food and toiletries to residents of Oakland County. Completely staffed by a dedicated group of volunteers, the pantry is open on Monday afternoons and Saturday mornings. In 2015 we served over 13,500 people.

Open Hands Food Pantry is located in the lower level of St. John’s Episcopal Church at the corner of Woodward Avenue and 11 Mile Road in Royal Oak, Michigan. Enter the parking lot from 11 Mile Road. Come in the glass double doors and straight down the stairs.

Eligibility:
Clients must present photo identification showing Oakland County residence.

God’s Helping Hands:
God’s Helping Hands is a community outreach that provides free food and clothing to those in need. GHH helps meet the needs of families in Oakland, Macomb and Lapeer counties, along with other counties in Southeast Michigan. With God’s guidance and the help of agencies, GHH has assisted more than 2,100 families since its inception in 1998. Our prayer is that when everyone works together we can make a difference.
